Passionate – Sophisticated - Purposeful

Holocaust Education Project: 'The Holocaust Through a Lens' with Holocaust educators Hannah Goldstone and Caroline Slifkin.

This year, they have received funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for 6 schools and North Cestrian School has been given the incredible opportunity to be one of those participating schools.

You will explore many aspects of the Holocaust, including the Kindertransport and the Lodz ghetto. As a response to your newly acquired knowledge, you will be reflecting creatively by producing photographs with given themes. These photographs will then be printed on banners and displayed at Yom Hashoah Manchester, a Holocaust commemoration that attracts over 1000 attendees, including MPs and mayors, at Bridgewater Hall on 17th April. We also attend!
