"We visited the V&A in Dundee to see their new exhibition, Kyoto to Catwalk.  The exhibition had 300 kimonos, accessories, paintings and photographs from the 1800s to now!  It showed how kimonos have evolved over the years and that they still worn today as fashion items.

I enjoyed seeing the variety of different patterns, shapes and colours.  I also enjoyed designing my own version of a kimono on a virtual model.

It relates to the modern world and shows that even although something is old and traditional, it still has a purpose in the modern world.

I have been inspired to visit more exhibitions."
