I joined the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People NW volunteers at the Lowry Outlet to raise awareness and money. I was on the afternoon shift with Ambassador Dog Abney and Working Hearing Dog Jessie. Lots of people were very interested in what the dogs can do to support deaf people and also in my implants and how they work. It’s deaf awareness week this week and I think I did my part and helped educate people!
