The Big River Watch is an example of citizen science where they ask the general public to help gather data on the health of our local rivers. They do this because rivers are suffering from intense water pollution. To help, they need to know which issues are most relevant and should be dealt with more thoroughly. 

We went to the River Bollin and filled in a survey on their app. I care very much about nature and I'm very curious to learn more about my local environment.
